Holiday Cheer With Christner’s

The holidays are upon us and we’re in a festive mood with a special Christner’s family recipe that isn’t available in the restaurant, as well as holiday offerings on the menu to celebrate the season with us.

Christner’s Family Eggnog Recipe

Our Christmas present to all of our guests is a special Christner’s family recipe for eggnog. Although it is not available on our menu, it has been passed down through generations and now we’re sharing it with you to enjoy at home.

Step 1: Gather the Ingredients

To make our family eggnog, you’ll need:

• 6 eggs
• 6 T Bourbon
• 6 T sugar
• 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
• A pinch of nutmeg

Step 2: Mix Eggs, Sugar, and Bourbon

Separate eggs into two separate bowls. Add the sugar and bourbon to the yolks and mix. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Whip cream until stiff.

Step 3: Fold Everything Together

Fold all together. You can add more bourbon to individual servings to taste. Garnish with nutmeg and serve with a spoon.
