At Christner’s, we pride ourselves on providing the highest-quality seafood for a dining experience that is nothing less than luxurious. Our seafood selections have been carefully curated to provide you with interesting flavors from the appetizer through to the main course.

Shrimp

Shrimp scampi

Shrimp provides a rich and salty taste. When properly prepared you’ll find shrimp to be soft, sweet, and lightly fragrant.

Our dishes featuring shrimp include:

  • Shrimp Cocktail
  • Shrimp Remoulade
  • Marinated Shrimp
  • Shrimp Sampler
  • Fried Shrimp

Our popular shrimp cocktail is served with a sweet and spicy cocktail sauce. The shrimp you’ll find in a shrimp cocktail are tender and served cold. If you prefer shrimp served hot, you’ll enjoy our fried shrimp, served up with an onion ring and cocktail sauce.

Crab

Whether the spotlight of the dish or simply a key ingredient, crab provides a unique and delicate flavor. Our dishes featuring crab include crab cakes and Alaskan King crab claws.

You can enjoy our crab cakes either as an appetizer or entrée. Served with cajun lobster sauce, you’ll find the crab cakes to be the perfect blend of savory with a hint of mineral sweetness.

Our Alaskan King crab claws are served with drawn butter and lemon. This favorite can be described as rich, delicate, and slightly sweet.

Oysters

Fried oysters

Springy and plump, oysters offer a briny flavor. When fried, oysters provide a crispy exterior for a nice crunch with a chewy inside. We serve fried oysters as an appetizer. This appetizer is best when paired with a glass of Sherry or Champagne and followed up with one of our USDA Prime Steaks.

Calamari

Fried calamari

Firm and somewhat chewy, calamari provides a mild flavor that is entirely unique to the dish. We serve fried calamari as an appetizer. Our fried calamari is served Shanghai style, which means it is tossed in a sweet and hot Shanghai sauce.

Tuna

Tuna

Deemed “the steak of the sea”, tuna is a hearty fish. Our Ahi tuna is both tender and oily with a mild flavor. Served rare, Ahi tuna will have a rich, buttery taste with a distinct pink color. The sesame seared tuna, on the other hand, is an excellent alternative to steak if you’re looking for a lighter meal.

Lobster

Carved tableside, our coldwater rock lobster tails are from the deepest ocean waters and are served with clarified butter. Easily the most sought-after part of the lobster, the meat from the lobster tail is high in protein and has a firm texture.

If you don’t want to commit to an entire lobster tail, you can order the lobster bisque for succulent and creamy soup with a seafood flavor.

Salmon

Salmon

Our hand-selected Atlantic salmon is served with a side of Tchoupitoulas sauce. Our salmon is light with a refreshing, mild taste. The Tchoupitoulas sauce complements the flavor profile of the salmon with its robust taste. This sauce has a creamy tomato base with capers and basil.

Grouper

We serve grouper as a main dish. Our grouper can be prepared broiled, blackened, or fried. Your decision will heavily impact the flavor profile of the grouper. Broiled grouper will be the lightest, healthiest option. The grouper will retain more of the omega-3 fatty acids when broiled compared to when it is blackened or fried. You’ll find blackened grouper to have a smoky flavor with a charred outer layer. Fried grouper will be salty and crisp.
