Christner’s Prime Steak & Lobster is proud to support the Parkinson Association of Central Florida in its mission to improve the lives of those impacted by Parkinson’s disease. Over the years, the organization has hosted events like Tee Off for Parkinson’s, a charity golf tournament that raises awareness, builds community and funds local resources. For Christner’s, lending our support to this cause is about more than sponsorship—it’s about honoring lives, fostering hope and making a difference in our community.

The Tee Off for Parkinson Experience

Tee Off for Parkinson’s is an annual charity golf tournament held at the Country Club of Orlando. Each year, the day features registration with breakfast and a silent auction, an 18-hole round of golf played in a shotgun format and an awards luncheon to close the event. More than a sporting competition, it brings players, sponsors and supporters together to raise funds and awareness for the Parkinson Association of Central Florida, making it both a day of sport and a meaningful way to support those living with Parkinson’s disease and their families.

2025 Event Highlights

On September 22, 2025, the Tee Off for Parkinson’s tournament was held at the Country Club of Orlando, bringing together players, sponsors and supporters for a day of golf, community and giving. Christner’s Prime Steak & Lobster participated in the event by offering financial support and helping raise awareness of the Parkinson Association of Central Florida’s mission.

Swing for Suzanne

One recent tournament included a special tribute called Swing for Suzanne, honoring the memory of Suzanne DeLongy. Suzanne, a beloved member of the Country Club of Orlando, lived courageously with Parkinson’s disease for three decades. Throughout her journey she remained a passionate supporter of the Parkinson Association of Central Florida and an active part of her community.

The Swing for Suzanne tribute celebrated her legacy by encouraging golfers and supporters to participate with the same spirit of strength and generosity that Suzanne embodied. It served as a reminder that the day is not just about playing golf—it’s about honoring lives, raising awareness and building hope for those impacted by Parkinson’s disease.
